Did you know that according to about.com, 83% of all cheerleaders have a ‘B’ grade point average or better? Cheering not only builds confidence, agility and team work skills, but also can help your youth perform better in school.

Whether it’s cheering, swimming or soccer – it’s important for your youth to be active and build their social skills through peer interaction. That’s where the Y can help!  


The next Cheer Sessions begin August 19th for ages 3 – 12.
Member cost is $30 and Non-member cost is $50.

We’re excited to have East coaches and cheerleaders train with us!

Practices are Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 in the evening and include learning cheer routines and minor tumbling.

Participants will cheer Saturday mornings at Flag Football games, and also make a special appearance at a South High football game.
