Full Membership Benefits:
A YMCA full membership gives you so much more than access to the facility. It helps you lead a healthier life by building relationships, providing a way for community participation, and an opportunity to get a great workout through our programs and equipment. A YMCA membership sets you on the path to good health in spirit, mind, and body, which helps you lead a full and balanced life. Membership benefits include free baby sitting service, unlimited use of fitness center, lap swim, open swim, A.W.A.Y. Program, priority registration, and member rates on programs and classes. Memberships can be paid in full for one year or monthly deduction from checking account or debit/credit card.
Memberships that are paid in full for 1 year get one month free in the calendar year.

Definition of a Group Membership

Members qualify for a group membership rate when one of the people on the membership is employed by a company listed at a corporate member of the YMCA.  There are currently 138 companies on our corporate list with additional companies joining every month.  Check with the Membership Services Desk for more information on who is a “Corporate Company".

Special Cheyenne Family YMCA Military Membership

Special Military Membership is for any member of the military or retired member of our military services wanting a single, family, or senior membership. Membership allows for significant savings of 15 percent off all membership fees including joiner fees.

Armed Services YMCA of the USA Membership

• Deployed National Guard and Reserve Military personnel and their families
• Active duty - independent duty station personnel and their families
• Relocated spouses and families of deployed active duty personnel

Entitled to a free membership as approved by the Armed Services YMCA six months before deployment, during deployment and for six months after personnel return home. Family events are scheduled once a month on the first Saturday.

The A.W.A.Y. Program:
Always Welcome at a YMCA
Your answer to fitness and travel.
Y members are Always Welcome At YMCA’s.
Members of the Cheyenne Family YMCA have the unique privilege of being accepted at any other YMCA around the world. Participation in the A.W.A.Y. Program requires current members in good standing to carry their membership card with them when they travel to another city with a YMCA. Access to other YMCA facilities is regulated by those facilities and will vary from city to city. The Cheyenne Family YMCA also honors members from other cities and other YMCA’s. Daily visits to the Cheyenne Family YMCA are free to A.W.A.Y. members.

Kidz Zone Hours:
Child care while you work out!  The Kidz Zone is open and free to all members while they are in the YMCA.  Care is children age 8 weeks to 11 years old.  Infants up to 6 months of age are welcome to stay for one full hour of play and socialization.  Children ages 7 months to 11 years old are welcome in the program for up to two hours per day.  All children participating in the Kidz Zone program must have an information packet on file along with a copy of their most recent shot records. 
Kidz Zone care is free to Members!

Youth Policy:
All children under the age of 12 not enrolled in a program must be accompanied by someone at least 16 years of age.

Swimming, Martial Arts, and Dance Class Registration:
YMCA members begin registration on the 15th of each month for the following month's session.  Non-members begin registration on the 20th day of each month. 
Swimming registration begins on the 15th of the month prior to class start dates and ends on the 25th.  Swimming is an 8 week program.

Locker Rooms & Towel Service:

Pool Locker Room:

Easy access to the swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna

Children ages 6 and older use gender appropriate locker room

Full length lockers for daily use free of charge

Half length lockers are yearly rental lockers

Family Locker Room:

For use by families or people with other needs

Access to this locker room is gained by checking out a key at the “Check In Desk” in the membership lobby

Lockers are daily use only

Adults Only Locker Room:

These locker rooms are locked at all times and access is gained by purchasing a key card from the Membership Services Desk

Towel service is free to all Adults Only Locker Room users

Key cards are available for purchase for members who have not rented a yearly locker

$5 per month Adult Men's Locker Room

Keys are free to members who purchase a yearly rental locker

Members need to provide their own lock for the lockers, or secure their valuables at the Membership Services Desk.  The YMCA is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Membership Cancellation Policy:
You may cancel your membership at any time.  Once canceled, if you choose to rejoin you are required to pay an additional start-up fee in addition to your membership fee.  You are also responsible for any outstanding balances.

The only person authorized to cancel the membership is the primary member.  This is the person who filled out the membership application at the top of the form.  Exceptions will only be made in extreme circumstances.

A cancellation form received by the 25th of the month will be effective the last day of the month it is received.  Any cancellation forms received after the 25th of the month will be effective on the last day of the following month.  (For example, a cancellation received by June 25th will not be effective until June 30th.  A cancellation received on June 26th or later, will not be effective until July 31st.)
