O-Zone center is a fun program for children on Saturdays. Limited space available. O-Zone Center is based on our day camp program. Activities include games, crafts and swimming. Attend O-Zone where children have the opportunity to do just about anything!
Bring a lunch, swim suit and towel
- $9 per child (prior weekly registration required)

Summer Food Service Program Site for 2010
The Cheyenne Family YMCA Summer Food Program – a three-month program that provides free, healthy meals to children up to age 18 – begins Monday, June 7, 2010. The program, in its fourth year, is a collaboration between the Cheyenne Family YMCA, Wyoming Department of Education, Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, Laramie County School District No. 1 and the United States Department of Agriculture, (USDA).
The meals will be served at various locations throughout Cheyenne as part of the YMCA’s summer “Bus Program,” as well as to children participating in summer school at certain LCSD No. 1 locations. The “Bus Program” locations for summer 2010 are listed below:
Cole Elementary School 9:30 - 11:00 am
Prairie View Apartments 9:30 - 11:00 am
Goins Elementary School 12:00 - 1:30 pm
West Winds Mobile Home Park 12:00 - 1:30 pm
Arp Elementary School 2:00 - 3:30 pm
Baggs Elementary School 2:00 - 3:30 pm
Cheyenne Family YMCA 11:00 - 12:30 pm
The “Bus Program” is a free, adult-supervised program for children in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. In addition to the food program, activities offered are sports and games, nature and outdoor activities, arts and craft projects, science adventures, summer reading program and many more fun activities.
Family Fun Nights
Join us on the first Saturday of every month for an evening full of fun family activities. Some of our activities include swimming, bingo, basketball, arts and crafts to go with the season, and special guests on occasion. Wonderful snacks are provided by Country Buffet. These evenings are free to full members. Community fee is $5 per family.
Children must be accompanied by an adult, this is a Family Event!

Open Doors Program
Our "Open Doors" program is our financial assistance program that is open to people from all walks of life. We are proud to offer financial assistance to our members as well as the community. This assistance can be used for membership fees, activities and or programs. Applications are required and scholarship amounts are based on financial need. All information disclosed in the scholarship application is confidential and is reviewed only by authorized YMCA staff. Funding for the scholarship program is provided through our Annual Support Campaign.
