Active Children in Theatre

Every Saturday
8am to 3:30pm
Join us for performance, technical, and educational theatre!
For children ages kindergarten
thru 6th grade
Free and open to the Community
Afterschool & The Bus participants get first chance to register.
Pre-registration required

The Bus
“The Bus” is a FREE, adult-supervised program for grades K-6th.   Activities include sports and games, nature activities, outdoor activities, arts and craft projects, science adventures, a summer reading program and many more fun activities.  A free lunch is served at each site.

Family Fun Nights
Join us on the first Saturday of every month for an evening full of fun family activities.  From 6:00pm to 8:00pm some of our activities include swimming, bingo, basketball, arts and crafts to go with the season, and special guests on occasion.  Wonderful snacks are provided by Country Buffet and Coca Cola.  These evenings are free and open to the community. Children must be accompanied by an adult, this is a Family Event!

Indoor Park
Indoor park is a warm safe environment for children ages newborn to 6 years old to run and play.  Supervision is provided by parents, and all toys and activities are provided by the YMCA.  This program runs October through May on Tuesdays and Fridays and is free and open to the community.

Scholarship Program
The Cheyenne Family YMCA is open to people from all walks of life.  We are proud to offer financial assistance to our members as well as the community.  This assistance can be used for membership fees, activities and or programs.   Applications are required and scholarship amounts are based on financial need.  All information disclosed in the scholarship application is confidential and is reviewed only by authorized YMCA staff.  Funding for the scholarship program is provided through our Annual Support Campaign.  For more information on how to donate to the Annual Support Campaign to support the scholarship program please call 634.9622 extension 21.

The Summer Lunch Program
The Summer Lunch program is a free lunch for children in the Cheyenne community.  Lunch is served at fourteen different locations throughout Cheyenne.  There are no pre-qualification requirements, all children are welcome.  The program begins the second week of June and ends the third week of August.
